Clinton Odums

Clinton Odums began his earthly journey on August 3, 1922 to the late Lucious Queen and Gertrude Odums in Cuthbert, Ga.  He departed this life of December 16, 2010 at Calhoun County Nursing Home in Edison, GA.  He joined Piney Grove Baptist Church at an early age.  He was united in holy matrimony to Rohdie Brookins and to this union two daughters were born.  He was later joined in holy matrimony to Sarah Mae Wiggins and to this union two daughters were born.He leaves to cherish his precious memories his children Mary Exam (John) and Willie Hart both of Newark, NJ, Maxine Slay of Lincoln, DE, Gladys Booker of Jacksonville, FL, Christopher T. Odums of Cuthbert, GA, Wayne Carr (Teresa) of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Annie Nelson of Newark, NJ; one sister-in-law, Barbara Queen of Charlotte, NC; a best friend and cousin, Whitt Paramore; special friend and caretaker of twenty years, Yolanda Carter; forty-three grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Piney Grove Baptist Church. Interment: Piney Grove Church Cemetery Repast: Piney Grove Baptist Church Dinning Hall
