Eddie James Coleman, Sr.

June 6, 1943 — March 1, 2012

Mr. Eddie James Coleman, Sr. was born on June 6, 1943 in Randolph, Georgia to the late Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Alberta Coleman both of Cuthbert, Georgia. At an early age, he accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and became a member of Vilulah Missionary Baptist Church. He attended the Mount Calvary Martin School in Shellman, Georgia. On April 14, 1968, he was united in holy matrimony to Georgia Mae Brookins to this union eight children were born. Eddie James passed from this life and entered into eternal rest on  March 1, 2012 at Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center in Cuthbert, Georgia. Four children: Eddie Coleman, Jr., Tracy Coleman, Alice Coleman, and Darlene Coleman, one sister, Inez Coleman Jackson, two brothers, Curtis Coleman and Daniel Coleman, and one sister-in-law, Beverly Coleman all preceded him death. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Georgia M. Coleman of Cuthbert, GA; three daughters; Betty (Amos), Sharlene (Darrell) both of Cuthbert, GA, and Teresa (Carl) of Panama City, FL; one son, Dennis (Melissa) of Blakely, GA, five sisters; Christine Tillman, Ethel Mae Coleman, Sandra Coleman all of Cuthbert, GA, Carlene (Ben) Lewis and Cora (Larry) Perry both of Miami FL; three brothers, JW (Annie Doris) Coleman of Cuthbert, GA, Cooper (Helen) Coleman, Jr. of Albany, GA, and Willie (Hope) Coleman of Hartford CT; one sisters-in-law, Annie Florence Coleman, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one aunt, Evelyn Green of Cuthbert, GA, one uncle, Sam Dixon of Coca, FL,  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A close friend, Mr. King Rivers and the "Just Chillin Club" located in Cuthbert, GA which he help created.
