Robert Lee Hightower

 Robert Lee Hightower was born on April 17,1945. Robert affectionately known as "Rob" to all his family and friends.  Robert was born to the parentage of the late Ms. Freddie Mae Hightower  and  the  late  Willie Sim Wilson (Father). One sister preceded him in death, Ms. Virginia  Wilson.  Robert attended Benevolence Schooling and later he attended Henderson High School in Cuthbert, GA.  Robert  joined  New  Salem  CME  Church at an early age where he served as a faithful member until his health failed.  Robert  was united in Holy Matrimony to Alice Hardy. To this union one son was born.  He was called from labor to reward  on  Thursday, September 27, 2012 at  Phoebe Putney  Memorial Hospital, Albany, GA.  He leaves to cherish his memory : stepmother, Mrs. Susie Wilson who he affectionately called "Mom Susie" ; one  son  Robert  Anthony Hightower of  LaGrange, GA; one daughter, Mary  Alexander of  Atlanta, GA  two sisters, Helen Hightower  and  Bertha Harmon (Lester), both of Benvolence, GA;  six  brothers, Willie James Wilson (Barbara), Samuel Wilson, Larry Wilson, Soloman Wilson, all  of  Cuthbert, GA, Roxzell Wilson (Carolyn) of Georgetown,GA and Leon Wilson (Cara) of Winter Haven,FL; three aunts, One aunt who was dear to his heart, Ms. Lucindy Ellis of  Benvolence, GA, Ms. Minnie Hogan of  Edison, GA  Nursing Home, Thelma Smith of Pahokee, FL; one uncle, J.C. Wilson  of  Manessa, VA;  four  grandchildren- all of LaGrange,GA; and host  of  nieces, nephews, cousins, and  countless  friends;  and One special friend who was just like a sister, Ms. Joanne Baldwin of Cuthbert, GA.
