Annie Mae Snelling Johnson was born to the late Mr. Jim Snelling and Mrs. Annie Nora Stephen Snelling. She was born on February 25, 1941 in Calhoun County, Morgan, GA. She departed this life on November 6, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA.She acceptd Christ as her Savior at an early age at Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church. Later, she joined and served as a faithful member at Faith Temple Church until she returned to her home church, Bethlemhem Free Will Baptist Church and served as a faithful member until her health failed. Annie Mae Johnson was a loving, caring, kind, hardworking and an easy-going woman. She loved everyone. She attended the Calhoun County Public School system in Morgan, GA. She worked as a housekeeper, factory worker and a cook for many years.She had three brothers, Charlie Arthur Snelling, John C. Snelling and Joseph Snelling, Sr.;  three brothers-in-law, Ellis Gudes, Sr., George Holder Sr., and Jerry Williams, Jr. to precede her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories three loving daughters; Janice (Dennis) Walton, Sr, Ola (Izell) Mills, Kim (Jerome) Richardson all of Cuthbert, GA; four sisters; Aretha Gudes of Cuthbert, GA, Lillie Williams of Shellman, GA, Fannie Holder and Elizabeth Snelling both of Albany, GA; seven sisters-in-law; Carrie and Maxine Snelling of Miami, FL, Mary Snelling of Tallahassee, FL, Pearline (Grant) Burks of Cuthbert, GA, Queen Grimes of Morgan, GA, Minnie Brown and Marie (George) McCray of Leary, GA; five brother-in-laws; Kenneth, Dallas, Alex, Arron and Eddie Johnson, Sr. of Leary, GA; one aunt; seven grandchildren; Eddie Johnson, Jr., Christopher Richardson, Dennis Walton, Jr., Monique Richardson, Isaiah Mills, Raheem Lewis, LaJerrick Walton; a host of nieces, great nieces, great-great nieces, nephews, great nephews great-great nephews, cousins, and friends.
