Roger Lee

Roger Lee was born December 13, 1954 in Albany, GA to the late Buster and Willie Mae Lee. Roger was educated in the Terrell County School System.  He confessed Christ at an early age at the Houston Grove Baptist Church in Sasser, GA.  After attending school, Roger joined the Armed Forces and faithfully served his country.  Following his honorable discharge, Roger began a career as a mechanic. Roger was known for his humor, and for making others feel welcome; no one was ever a stranger to him.  He was a devoted friend to many and was dearly loved. Roger departed this life on Sunday, February 3, 2013.  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly L. White and two sisters, Willie Pearl Chambers and Ruby Baldwin. Roger leaves to cherish his memory a devoted fiancée, Sharon Edwards of Cuthbert, GA; one son, Timothy Lee of Albany, GA; three brothers, John Arthur (Ellen) Lee of Tampa, FL, Buster (Mary) Lee, Jr. of Sasser, GA, Joe (Annie) Lee of Albany, GA; three sisters, Doris Calhoun of Sasser, GA, Dollie (Roosevelt) Kearney, and Mildred (Richard) Bradford of Albany, GA; one ex-wife, Shirlene Gulley of Albany, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
