A Time To Be Born Mary Alice Baldwin-Hardrick was born August 5, 1932 to the late Mitchell Baldwin and the late Rosanna Callaway in Randolph County, GA. She was one of seven siblings; Lillie Mae, Rosie Lee, Augusta, Mamie, Paul, and Elizabeth, whom all preceded her in death. A Time To Plant Mary attended the Randolph County School System. She was employed by Randolph County Board of Education as a food server for 24 years. She was well known as a driver (taxi) to many, taking them to doctor's appointments, grocery store, and church. At an early age she joined Benevolence Missionary Baptist Church, where she actively sang in the church chorus until her health failed her. She really loved her church and the choir. A Time To Love. Mary was united in Holy Matrimony to James "Albert" Hardrick on July 9, 1949. To this union six children were born: James, Melvin, Benjamin (who preceded her in death), Bettye, Carolyn, and Willie. A Time To Die Mary departed this life on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Willson Hospice House in Albany, GA. She is survived by two daughters, Bettye Hardrick-Horton, Carolyn (Lessie) Daniels; one son, Willie (Evonne) Hardrick; twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
