Mamie Green

Mamie Lee Green  was born May 24, 1924 in Calhoun County to the late Bill  and Corinne (Nattin) Green.She entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at JoAnne Burgin Nursing Home in Cuthbert, GA. She was a member of Mt.Cilla AME Church. She served on the usher board for a number of years. She was a faithful member until her health failed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Corinne (Nattin) Green and her twin brother, Bennie Green and all of her siblings and a daughter, Dorothy McRoy.She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Bobby Shaw of Pickerington, Ohio, three sons, Larry Green, Kenneth Green of Cuthbert, GA and Willie L. Green of Seattle, WA, twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and two very special friends, Melissa Simpson and Jeraldine Robinson.
