Helen Ann Daniels Vaughn was born in Shellman, GA on February 11, 1952 to the late John Arthur and Claudia Daniels. Helen Vaughn whom we all know and love as "Sista" accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Agape Ministries Inc. located in Shellman, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor Ethel Coleman. Helen "Sista" was a graduate from Shellman High School class of 1969. She was a loyal and dedicated employee with New Horizon for over ten years. Her character was full of life, loving, giving, nurturing and she always had an encouraging word on her lips for anyone who came in contact with her. A dynamic person who never met strangers or treated you like one. Sista's motto was to "Love and have peace with one another."She was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Kenneth Daniels and two sisters, Rosa and Barbara.Helen leaves to celebrate her life, her husband, William Michael Vaughn; two loving sons, Aundra McDaniels and Regnial Vaughn, Sr. (Catina); five grandsons, Rakeem, Jordan, Regnial, Jr., Rahmir and Raymon all of Atlanta, GA; four brothers, John Henry Daniels, Harrison Daniels both of Atlanta, GA, Douglas and Edward Daniels both of Cuthbert, GA; five stepbrothers, Oscar L. (Evette) Daniels, Tyrone, Reginal E. Daniels and Charles (Marion) Thorpe all of Albany, GA; James A. Daniels (Sandra) of Memphis, TN; three stepsisters, Diana (James) Stringer and Maggie T. Griffin both of Albany, GA and Peggy T. Wimberly of Killeen, TX; a stepmother, Patricia Allen Thorpe; and a host of caring aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
