Cuthbert, GA. 39840Chirstine Small-Rogers was born to the parentage of Mr. Aaron and Mrs. Elmiria Small on May 29, 1933 in Dawson,GA. She was one of nine Siblings.Chirstine attened school in Terrell Co.school sytem in dawson Ga. On June 19, 1956 Chirstine joined in Holy matrimony to Mr. J.W. Rogers to this union God blessed them with four beautiful children. God touched Christine heart and she confessed Chirst as her Lord and Savior while she was attending Zion Rock AME Church. Later in life she moved her membership to Vilulah baptist church where she served for over 40 years. Chirstine had a love for her garden where she grew her collards greens and other vegtables that she cooked  for her family. She also kept a beautiful flower bed in her yard. Chirstine is preceeded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs  Aaron Small, four brothers: R.D. Small, Robert Small, Aaron Small and Willie Walter; four sisters: Jesssie Brooks, Geradine Jones, VedellWillie and, Marie Mitchell and one grandson Larry Rogers III. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband J.W. Rogers; four children Elmiria(Leroy) Peterson, Tommy Rogers, Frank(Rose) Rogers and Larry Rogers all of Cuthbert,GA.  One brother Phelix Small  of Gainesville FL; four brother-in-laws: Joe Rogers and Wallace Rogers both of Cuthbert,GA, Rufus (Lorene)Rogers of Columbus,GA, Roy Norris (Karen) Rogers of League City,TX, two sister-in- laws Minnie Campbell of Brentveiw ,Maryland  and Betty Sturgan of Cocoa Fl, nine grandchildren, nine great grands and a host of nieces and nephews cousins and friends.
