Shanika Nichole Jones

Miss Shanika N. Jones was born on October 13, 1985 to Dianne Jones of Cuthbert, GA and Roy Jones of Arlington, GA.She attended Randolph County Public School. She was employed with Andrew College. Nichole confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Benevolence Baptist Church. Shanika departed this life on Saturday, August, 16, 2014 at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Columbus, GA. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Wille (Ruth) Jones and Charlie Will (Annie B) Gibson, great aunt: Ozzie Walton, aunt: Maxine Gibson, aunt: Betty Ruth Davis, and Doris Gibson, uncles: Eddie James Jones and Charlie James Jones, one special cousin, Darius Gibson, and great grandmother, Viola Myers.She leaves to mourn her cherished her memories: her children, Shania Jones, Paris and Genesis Brookins, and Darren Brookins all of Cuthbert, GA; her loving mother, Dianne Jones of Cuthbert, GA and father, Roy (Drucilla) Jones of Arlington, GA; four sisters: Felisha (Wayne) Walton of Albany, GA, Jennifer Gibson of Albany, GA, Jennakia McCoy of Lumpkin, GA, and Tanya McCoy of Richland, GA; two brothers: Rekenzie Jones of Cuthbert, GA and Tarrus (Shamel) McCoy of Lumpkin, GA; eleven aunts: Clemmie (Marcellus) McCluster of Lapoka, FL, Marilynn Gibson of Brooklyn, NY, Shirley Gibson, Dorothea (Floyd) Burks, Cynthia Robinson all of Cuthbert, GA, Priscilla (Wilson) Tolbert of Dawson, GA, Ruby Polite of Dallas, TX, Jane (David) Ingram and Barbara Jones both of Edison, GA, Gail Fairbanks and Pansey Jones both of Atlanta, GA; seven uncles: John Gibson, Sr., Ezzard Gibson, Melvin (Carmen) Gibson all of Cuthbert, GA, Donnell (Sonya) Gibson of Arkansas, Gene Jones and Mack Authur (Rose) Jones both of Morgan, GA and Terry Jones of Atlanta, GA.
