Vernon Baptist ChurchCuthbert, GA 39840Pastor Coley Clark OfficiatingSister Ina Fate Gadson was born in Randolph County, GA on September 12, 1950 to the late Mable Carter.Through her devotion to God, she accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age and joined second saint Luke Baptist Church, and later joined Mount Vernon Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a member of the choir, Secretary Chairperson of the women’s day Program, And a member of the Nursing Home ministry. She was also a member of the Interdenominational Ensemble choir.Sister Gadson received her education in the Randolph county School System where she was a 1968 graduate of the Henderson High School. After graduation she attended Albany State University and Sparks State Technical School.She was employed for many years by the Randolph County Board of Education, and was also employed by the Clay County Board of Education.Sister Gadson entered into eternal rest on November 4, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany GA.Precious memories will be cherished by her two children: Cheryl Gadson and Deion Hunter; Four Grandchildren: Candace Boynton, Kitaria Hudson, Demaria Jones and Deion Hunter, Jr; Five Siblings: Sandra C. Newberry, Willie Floyd (Mary Frances) Carter, Minister Veronica Fillingame, Vanessa Lee, and Cardelia Carter; One Uncle; Reverend James Carter; One Aunt: Betty Smith Carter, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
