Boot, as he was affectionately known, departed this life on November 6, 2014 at his home. In 1967, Boot married Martha Lou Williams. He joined Pleasent Grove AME Church at an early age and served faithfully until his death. Boot was educated in the Randolph County School System and was employed with the Georgis department of Transportation for over 25 years. After his retirement, he spent his timeSightseeing, fishing and working on cars.One brother, Johnny Jackson, Jr, and a siter, Gussie Jackson, proceceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories a special friend Ms Minnie Green of Cuthbert, GA. He also leaves a legacy with his beloved children: Teresa Jackson, Willie Jackson(Sabrina) of Cuthbert, GA, Sandy Jackson of Coleman GA,Veronica Hope of Cuthbert, GA, and Tonya Jackson-Brock(Robert) of Prince George, VA, Alvin Green of Montgomery, AL, Gwinette Green-Martin(Leonard), Terry Green of Cuthbert,GA; Bernad Johnson(Elizabeth), James Johnson, and Calvin Green, all of Dawson,GA; Jerry Johnson of Athens,GA and Tarvett Standley of Leesburg,GA.Three sisters: Dorothy General, Mary A. Jones, and Shirley Mansfield, all of Cuthbert,GA. Nine brothers:Steve(Mildred) Jackson,Larry Jackson, Lonnie Jackson, Marvin Jackson, Willie A. Jackson all of Cuthbert,GA; Jerry (Teresa) Jackson,Eddie(Tanjala) Jackson, Donald(Lona) Jackson of Hobb, New Mexico,Ronald(Dorshell) Jackson of Odessa, TX and Willie Ed(Doris) Moreland of Plant City FL.
