Lizzie Mae was the first-born child of three siblings.On October 10, 2014, God decided it was time to pluck a flower for His heavenly garden, and he so sweetly called Lizzie mae home. She was resting in her home in Americus,GA; when she enterded into eternal rest.She was joined in Holy matrimony to the late Willie Allen Johnson and to this union fifteen children were born.Lizzie Mae was a loving caregiver who loved to care for all kids in her community. She nurtured children until her health failed.She joined Pleasent Grove Baptist Church at an early age. She later joined The Kingdom of God under the leadership of Pastor Yvonne Lewis. She served there faithfully until her health failed.Preceding her in death is her husband, Willie allen Johnson Sr; her mother, Clara B. Parker; one siter, Clara M. Parker; two daughters, Carolyn D. Johnson and Martha Q. Alle; and one son, Lawrence Johnson,Sr.She leaves to cherish her memories: five daughters, Barbara (Antonio) Hill of Americus,GA; Connie(Booker) Johnson of Albany, GA, Willie Mae Davis and Mary Alice Johnson both of Shellman,GA and Betty Shingles of Passaic, NJ; six sons Carey Johnson, Willie Allen Johnson Jr. Bobby Johnson (Patricia), all of Shellman,GA; Edward(Wennifer) Johnson of Atlanta , GA; Marvin(Patricia) Johnson of Denver CO; and Eddie D. (Shawn) Johnson of Quitman,GA; one sister Emma(Darnell) Reynolds of Columbia,SC; one Sister-in-law Mary Johnson Peak of Shellman GA; a devoted friend, Mr. Johnny Price of Shellman,GA; Thirty grandchildren, sixty great-grandchildren; twenty-three reat great grandchildre; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
