Through her devotion to God, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and joined Second Saint Luke Baptist Church. She later joined Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully as a member. Sister Lee received her education in the Randolph County Schools. She was a 1975 graduate of Randolph County Comprehensive High School. After graduation, she attended Martin Community College in North Carolina. She married Richard S. Lee in August 1977. One sister, Ina Faye Gadson preceded her in death. Sister Lee entered into eternal rest on September 20, 2015 at Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center in Cuthbert. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Trenieceisa (Johnny) Lewis, Sasser, Georgia and Devon Lee, Atlanta, Georgia; two sons: Ricshord Lee and Brian Lee, both of North Carolina; eleven grandchildren: Shay, Savion, Amber, Tunarsha, Jay, Kymecia, Kyle, Sareniti, Joseph, Skylar, and Layla; five siblings: Sandra Newberry, Albany, Georgia, Willie Floyd (Mary Frances) Carter, Dawson, Georgia, Minister Veronica Fillingame, and Cardelia Carter, both of Cuthbert, Georgia; one uncle: Rev. James Carter, Cuthbert, GA; one aunt: Betty Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.—
