On May 13, 1940, she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late John Thomas and to this union four children were born. Lucile was a member of Morris Baptist Church of Morris, Georgia. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters: Dorothy Jones, Lillie Thomas, and Rosie Foster (Sylvester Foster, Jr.); two sons: John Thomas (Liz) and Alfred Wilborn; grandchildren: Brenda Thomas, Jocelyn Foster, Sylvester Foster III, Harvey Dean Thomas, Nicole Thomas, Veronica Thomas, Demetrius Thomas, Jeff Green, Greg Green, Mark Coley, Jerome Coley; seventeen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; special nieces Thelma Christian, Sally McCoy, Mary Clark, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.—
