Michelle Anita Brown took that first step on the road to home September 6, 2016 at her residence in Columbus, Georgia.Michelle was born to the parentage of the late Willie S. Brown, Sr. and Irma D. Brown, February 16, 1961.She obtained her education in the Randolph County School System, Cuthbert, GA; and was a member of Bethel AME Church, Ft. Gaines, Ga. She retired from the Atlanta Journal, but continued to work with E.S.P., Inc., Atlanta, GA. Her favorite hobby was traveling.In addition to her parents, Michelle was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Tolie Harris; paternal grandparents, Lucious Brown Sr. & Lillie Mae Brown; and sister, Evera Davis.She leaves to mourn her passing: 4 sisters: Elizabeth Brown, Beverlyn Brown Murphy (Pete) , Mevelene Brown Johnson, Iren Burks; 3 brothers: Willie Sam Brown, Jr , Michael Keith Brown, Don Grooms, nieces & nephews: Angela Jordan, Vionne Edwards, Monica Johnson, Andra’ Brown Sr., Tracy Brown, Carlos Johnson Willie and Reginald Burks, Leslie and Ashley Anderson; Great-nieces & nephews: Zahri Jones, Elizabeth Dickson, Andra’ Brown, Jr., Juan Brown; Great-great nieces & nephews: Paisley Olivia Brown, Mercury Jones, Jamison Price, Jeremiah Jones; a host of cousins, classmates and sorrowing friends.
