Brenda Green

Brenda Green was born December 12, 1960 in Cuthbert, GA to the late Ethel Harris and Wilson Harris, Sr.Brenda was a member of the Virgil Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Cuthbert, Georgia. Through her life's journey she learned to depend and trust in Jesus Christ and she accepted him as her Lord and Savior.She was educated in the Randolph County Schools and she was part of the 1979 class. Throughout her life she was employed at Kellwood, Columbus Mills and Beaulieu of Columbus.Brenda will truly be missed for her infectious smile and her outgoing personality! You never saw her with a frown on her face! When she walked in a room, her personality and smile truly brighten it up. She will truly be missed. In 1976, she was united in holy matrimony to the late Lee E. James, Sr. and to this union four children were born. In 1995, Anquen was born and she raised him as her own. In 2007, she was united in holy matrimony to the late Charlie C. Green.She entered into enternal rest on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Willson Hospice House in Albany, GA.She had a sister and two brothers to precede her in death; Johnnie Bell Loud, Calvin Harris, and Willie James Queen.She leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter, Lebreshia Baliey of Cuthbert, GA; four sons, Lee E James Jr of Columbus GA, Mario James of Cuthbert GA, Anquen (Carolyn) James of Fort Hood TX, and Terrance (Shamika) James of Ft Lee VA; eight grandchildren, Chadria, Tyre, Taylen, Cornil, Dominic, Terrance, Tyerrah, T'ziah, three sisters Evelyn (Rosco) Baldwin of Lumpkin GA, Carolyn Baker of Cuthbert GA, Sandra (Tom) Jones of Cuthbert GA; four brothers, Willie Ed (Carolyn) Harris of Cuthbert GA, Alvin (Bernice) Harris of Georgetown, GA, Wilson (Celinda) Harris Jr of Cuthbert GA, and Michael Harris of Atlanta GA; four aunts, Mildred Harris, Louise Major and Queen Burnett of Cuthbert GA, and Lousie Bussey of Chicago,IL. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends.
