Willie Ester Shorter

Sister Willie Ester Shorter was born August 8, 1926 to the late Mr. Alfred Lawrence Morrison and Mrs. Annie Clara Ross Shepherd in Randolph, County GeorgiaAt an early age she confessed Christ as her personal savior and joined Mt. Vernon Baptist Church where she served as usher and became mother of the church.She departed this life Wednesday morning April 12, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. at her resident surrounded by family.She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Brooker T. Shorter, Sr.Sister Shorter is survived by her sister and brother children, Geraldine Williams of Tuscaloosa, AL and Barbara Williams (Kenneth) of Waverly Hall, GA, Samuel Foster of Cuthbert, GA, Sylvester Williams (Deborah) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Ulysses Williams of Savannah, GA, and Jimmy Gilder of Reidsville, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
