Bobby "Pig" Price

March 21, 1985 — February 2, 2026

Cuthbert, GA

In loving memory, we gather to celebrate the life of Bobby Price, known affectionately as "Pig," a cherished son, brother, father, and friend. Born on March 21, 1985, in Cuthbert, Georgia, he entered this world with a spirit as warm as the Southern sun, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Bobby dedicated his life to serving his community, working tirelessly with the Fire Department in Cuthbert and spending countless years with the Cuthbert EMS Services. Through his career in emergency services, he transformed the lives of many, embodying the values of bravery and compassion. His commitment to saving lives was only surpassed by the love he shared with those around him—a love that knew no bounds, reaching not only his family but also extending generously to nieces, nephews, and even random strangers. Bobby's legacy is one of kindness and selflessness, a testament to his character that resonated deeply with everyone he encountered.

He attended the Randolph County School System, often reminiscing about his youth spent playing baseball and basketball—passions that illuminated his adventurous spirit. Those who knew Bobby will remember his infectious laughter and his ability to bring joy wherever he went. He was not just a brother, an uncle, or a friend; he was a beacon of light, casting warmth on the coldest of days.

Bobby departed from this life at his residence on February 2, 2026, leaving behind a profound void in the hearts of his loved ones. He is survived by his beloved mother, Annie (Johnny) Burks; sisters, Mary (Rod) Love of Shellman, GA, Lawanda Smith, Nancy Cheese of Cuthbert, GA, Latonya Moore of Columbus, GA; brothers, Jerrell Burks, Shawn (Shamekia) Cheese, Jimmy Price, Jr. of Cuthbert, GA, and Toney Burks of Columbus, GA; and his cherished grandmother, Roberta Engram of Cuthbert, GA. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, each carrying a fragment of his spirit within them.

Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Price, Sr., and his sister, Martha Baldwin. Though they are no longer here, their memories inter-twine Bobby's, keeping his spirit alive in every shared story and whispered recollection.

The family would like to express special gratitude to a very special friend Shovon Jones and his nieces Sierra Humbert who often cared for him. Thank you.

In this profound time of grief, we celebrate a life well-lived, a spirit unyielding in love, and a heart that embraced all. Bobby Price will forever be remembered as a devoted caregiver, a loyal friend, and a man who left the world a little brighter and a great deal kinder.
