Cardelia Carter

Sister Cardelia Francine Carter was born in Randolph County on May 22,1958 to the late Mable Carter. Through her devotion to God, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and joined Second Saint Luke Baptist Church. She later joined Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church. Sister Carter received her education in Randolph County Schools. She was a 1976 graduate of Randolph County Comprehensive High School. After graduation she was employed at Farley Nuclear Plant for many years and later moved to Atlanta, Ga where she worked for Delta Airlines for over 20 years. Three sisters Ina Faye Gadson, Vanessa Lee and Sandra Newberry preceded her in death. Sister Carter entered into eternal rest on April 12, 2020 at Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center in Cuthbert. She leaves to cherish her memory two siblings: Willie Floyd (Mary Frances) Carter of Dawson Georgia, Minister Veronica Fillingame of Cuthbert, Georgia. A special nephew Savion Peak and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
