Charlotte Ward Alford

Mrs. Charlotte Marie Ward Alford was born June 25, 1964 to the late Gloria Ward and Edward Norton, Sr. in Easton, Pennsylvania. She departed this earthly life on June 24, 2023 at 102 Center Street. After moving back from Easton, Pennsylvania where she lived most of her life, she moved to Cuthbert, Georgia and joined Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she served in the church choir. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Lee Alford; son Pavon Alford; sister, Vera Ward Kelly, brother, Legustard Ward (Butch). She loved being with her family, grandkids, and friends. Charlotte is survived by one daughter, Quanesha (James) Currington and one son, Darrin (Purella) Alford both of Cuthbert, GA; one sister, Glory Ward; three brothers, Tommie Ward, Darnell Williams, and Gregory Ward all of Easton, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Jamarion Bryant, James Currington, Jr., Jamariyan Currington, Jamirra Currington, Jazmine Currington, and Kealyn Alford; two sisters-inlaw, Annie Bell Bouyer of Cuthbert, GA and Shirley Jones of New Jersey; a host of nieces and nephews, and friends.
