Darryl Graddy

Bro. Darryl Graddy was born on January 16, 1962, the youngest son of Mr. John Thomas and Mrs. Ella Graddy.

Bro. Darryl joined the Union Baptist Church at an early age.

He graduated from the Randolph County School System in the year of 1979. Darryl joined the U.S. Army immediately after completion of high school. When he returned home, he was employed at J.P. Gunnels in Shellman.

He enjoyed riding his bicycle and treated it like his Cadillac. He loved repairing and fixing things. He enjoyed spending time with his dog Max.

On July 3, 2026, Bro. Darryl was called to his final resting place.

Preceding him in death are: his parents, Mr. John and Mrs. Ella; three sisters, Annie Jean Vickerson, Betsy Graddy and Elizabeth Stringer. 

Cherishing the memories are one daughter, Monique Graddy of TX, and one son, Brandon Kennedy of Columbus, OH; three brothers, Johnny Graddy of Albany, GA, Richard Vickerson of Shellman, GA and Tommy (Pearl) Graddy of Converse, TX; five sisters, Shirley Williams of Albany, GA, Hattie Rogers and Emma Weaver, both of Washington, DC, Gloria Burks of Shellman, GA and Pastor LaVerne Richardson of Cuthbert, GA; one brother-in-law, Eddie Stringer of Shellman, GA; two aunts, Sally (Bobby) Barnes of Jacksonville, FL, and Eddie Mae (Frank) Hall of Tallahassee, FL; a devoted friend, Connie Johnson of Shellman, GA; Godmother, Pastor Yvonne Lewis; two Godbrothers, Tommy Cook of Shellman, GA and Marvin Williams of Cuthbert, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
