Eddie's journey began in Cuthbert, where he was born to Louie Johnson and Charlie Love Culberth. Growing up along-side his brothers Charlie J. Culberth Sr., Tommy Christian, and sister Shelley Ann Davis, Eddie embraced a strong sense of familial that would shape his life.
After completing his education in the Public School System in Randolph County, Eddie embarked on a fulfilling career at Burgin Lumber Company. With hard work and determination, he climbed the ranks over the years to a highly respected employee. Eddie's commitment and loyalty were recognized by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
In addition to his professional achievements, found immense joy in his personal life. He married Josie Culberth, with whom he shared many joyous years together.
Eddie Lee Culberth leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter: Shonda Alexander, sons: Eddie Alexander and Rick (Debbie) Culberth, a sister: Shelley Ann Davis, grandchildren: Matin Bouyer, Jr., Terrence Alexander, Alexus Givens, Robin Givens, Lakisha Smith, Middarious Culberth, and Antwan Smith.
Family held a special place in Eddie's heart, and he treasured the relationships he cultivated with his nieces and nephews. Charlie C. Davis Jr., Charlie J. Culberth Jr., Shawanda Davis, Angela Davis were more than just family; they were confidants and friends who shared a bond unlike any other. Janice Knighton and Carolyn Bryant held a significant place in Eddie's heart as special cousins.
Eddie's passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew him, but his memory will forever remain a source of comfort. His legacy of hard work, compassion, and unwavering love will continue to inspire future generations.
