Edna Stewart

Ms. Edna Nelson Stewart was on born August 2, 1934 in Marshallville, GA to the late Ruthie Nelson. She entered eternal rest on September 17, 2021 at Fort Gaines Health and Rehab. At an early age, Ms. Edna accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. Ms. Edna obtained her education within the Macon County School System. She was a homemaker. Her joy was the love for her family, singing, planting flowers and growing vegetable in her garden. Her loving spirit will forever be missed. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her husband, Willie B, Stewart; her daughter, Emma Caldwell; three sisters, Clara Varrow, Helen Cannon, and Ella Louise Thomas. Ms. Edna leaves cherished memories to her children; two daughters, Thelma J. Coleman and Ella Mincy, both of Cuthbert, GA, and two sons, Michael Stewart of Cuthbert, GA and Robert T. Stewart of Atlanta, GA; twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; a loving care giver, Miracle Murphy; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
