Gloria Daniels Wilburn, lovingly known as “Toot,” transitioned to her eternal home on June 16, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia. She was born on March 8, 1956, in Randolph County. Gloria was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love for her family will always be remembered.
She leaves to cherish her memory her three beloved children: Frederick Bernard Wilburn, Felicia Wilburn- Porter (Michael), and Michele Mekia Wilburn. She was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Dalviness Greene, Detravious Greene, Frederick Wilburn Jr., Makayla Porter, Tashon McDowell, Zaidan Finch, and Dy’Myn Johnson. Gloria also leaves behind three great-grandchildren: Madison Wilburn, Kalaya Wilburn, and Daelyn Greene, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She is also survived by her siblings: Booker T. Downie (Connie), Elizabeth Prince, Sammie Hudley, Lula Mae Prince, Rosa Daniels, Sheldon Daniels (Wylene Daniels), and Dorothy Smith.
Gloria was preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Grady Wilburn; her beloved mother, Ethel Daniels; and her family members Sam Daniels and Leroy Daniels
Gloria will be remembered for the love she gave, the strength she showed, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
