Henry Thomas, Sr.

Mr. Henry Lee "Foot" Thomas Sr., 56 of Cuthbert, Georgia, was born on January 28, 1969, to the late Walter James Williams Sr. and Virginia Coley of Cuthbert, Georgia. He departed this life on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Wilson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia.

At an early age, Henry accepted Christ as his Lord & Savior and became a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Lumpkin, Georgia. He attended school in Stewart County. He was a loving and joyful man to all who knew him. Henry was a great friend, a loving brother, and son. He was an amazing father; his kids were his world. He loved & cherished them until his unexpected departure. 

Henry loved the outdoors, where he worked in the logging industry of American Proteins until his health failed him. He loved the game of football & basketball, playing pool, & most of all, he was a true fisherman at heart.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Joe Williams. Henry leaves to cherish his memories four daughters: Wendy Smith (Jonathan) of Shellman GA, Angela Thomas of Columbus, GA, Artrula McCray of Columbus, GA, Ashley McCray of Columbus, GA; two sons: Henry Lee Thomas Jr. (Jamie) of Athens, GA, Tarr Lingo (Samantha) of Columbus, GA. A special friend, Joyce Lingo of Columbus, GA; three sisters; Nina Strong (James), Jerrlin Williams-Green of Columbus, GA, Kimberly Thomas of Louvale, GA, two brothers; Marcus Williams of Benevolence, GA, Walter Williams Ir. of Atlanta, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends
