In loving memory of Kenneth "Pine" Green, who graced this world with his presence on October 4, 1955, in the quaint town of Carnegie, GA. A devoted farmer by trade, Pine dedicated his life to nurturing the land, a testament to his unyielding spirit and unwavering work ethic. His hands, weathered and seasoned, tilled the earth as he sowed not just crops but also a legacy of love and commitment to family.
On December 21, 2025, he passed away at Phoebe Hospice in Albany, GA, leaving behind a warmth that will forever linger in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him. Pine was a loving, caring, and hardworking man, traits that radiated through his every interaction. He cherished every moment with his family, particularly delighting in the laughter and joy shared with his grandchildren, whom he adored immensely. Holidays spent in his company from Thanksgiving until New Year's will forever be cherished memories, bathed in warmth and delight.
A proud graduate of the Calhoun County High School class of 1974, Pine's life's adventures paved the way for a close -knit family who will carry his spirit into the future. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Kimberly Grant; his son, Kenneth Green, Jr., of Moultrie, GA; his grandchildren, DeAndre Grant, Miesha Grant, Niesha Grant, Chasity Grant, and NyKearian Green, all stay in Moultrie, GA ; five great grandchildren; his brother, Larry Green, of Cuthbert, GA; and his sister, Mae Wims, of Cocoa, FL.
The echoes of laughter, the hearty conversations spent riding bikes, or simply "hanging out" with friends will resonate beyond his time with us. Pine nurtured relationships as fervently as he nurtured the fields he farmed, teaching those around him the joys of life, including the art of online shopping, which he approached with a childlike excitement.
As we remember Pine, we long for the moments spent together, for those private jokes whispered among family, and the lessons learned from a true patriarch. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Willie Dixie and Mammie Green, and siblings Willie Green, Bobby Shaw, and Dorothy Green. They await him now in the embrace of eternity, as Pine joins them under the heavenly skies. As we bid farewell to Kenneth "Pine" Green, let us carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and resilience, honoring the spirit of a remarkable man whose memory will dance among the fields he cherished and the family he adored.
