Mosie Lee Graddy

August 23, 1923 — October 12, 2025

Cuthbert

Mrs. Mosie Lee Graddy was born August 23, 1923 in Randolph County to the late Raymond Seymour, Sr and Jenny Seymore. She departed her earthly home, for her eternal home, on October 12, 2025 at Joanne Burgin Nursing Home.

Mosie Lee was reared and educated in Randoph County. At an early age, she joined Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. There she served faithfully until her health failed.

Mosie Lee met and was united in holy matrimony to William “Toad” Graddy and together they reared one son.

She will be remembered for always taking the high road. When things got rough, and cares were her pressing her down, she didn’t quit, she pressed on. She had gained her wings and is wearing her starry crown.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Annie (Sugar) Graddy of Stone Mountain, GA; grandchildren, Bobby Graddy, Jr of Miami, FL, Lanell Vaughn of North Dakota, and James Vaughn of Stone Mountain, GA; She also leaves brother-in-law, Charles Hargett of Westbury, NY and sister-in-law, Vella Kitchens of Decatur, GA; a host of great grand nieces and nephews, cousins, and a supportive community. She will be surely missed
