Ms. Mary Ann Jackson

January 1, 1956 — July 20, 2020

God planted Mary Ann Jones roots here on this earth on January 1, 1956 to the Late Gussie Ree and Johnny Jackson Sr. Some people walk this earth for a shorter time than others not knowing what their purpose is, but Mary knew that her purpose was to love, care for others and to make them laugh and smile. Her departure reminds us that there are angels watching over us so she departed this life on July 20th, 2020. Mary joined Pleasant Grove A.M.E. in Cuthbert, Georgia at an early age where she served faithfully. She is preceded in death by her daughter Sheila Jones, her parents Gussie Ree and Johnny Jackson Sr., & two brothers Johnny Jackson Jr. & Willie Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memories her son Thomas Jones III (Consuela), her daughter Shovon Jone; Two sisters Dorothy General and Shirley A. Mansfield; Nine brothers, Steve ( Mildred) Jackson, Lonnie Jacskon, Marvin Jackson, Willlie A Jackson and Larry Jackson all of Cuthbert, Ga. Jerry (Teresa) Jackson, Eddie ( Tanjaia) Jackson and Donald Jackson all of Hobbs New Mexico and Ronald Jackson of Odessa, Texas.
