Otis Kithen

Otis Kitchen was born on May 18, 1930 to the late Sylvester and Jennie S. Kitchen. On July 28th 2018 he transitioned to his place of rest at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA. He was greeted by his loving wife Allie M. Kitchen, his parents, and several siblings. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He was educated in the Randolph County School System. He enlisted in the US Army in 1951 and served until 1956. He was a recipient of a Purple Heart. He was employed for 50 plus years by Hertz Co., Miami, Fla. Precious memories will be cherished by Two daughters: Evelyn (Ulysses) Bryant of Savannah,  GA and Shirley McKnight of Orlando, Fla. Two siblings, Mosie L. Grady, of Cuthbert, GA and J.L. (Vella) Kitchen of Decatur, GA. Two special close friends, Jimmy Sealy and Wallace Vaughn.
