Robert Lee Knighton, Jr.

Mr. Robert Lee Knighton Jr. was born on June 16, 1950 to the late Jeraline Nelson and the late Robert Lee Knighton, Sr. in Brooksfield, Georgia.

Robert received his education from the Randolph County School System.

On December 9, 2023, Robert transitioned to his eternal home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeraline Nelson and Robert Lee Knighton, Sr, and his stepfather Usher Lee Nelson.

He leaves cherished memories to his two sons, Cornelius Price and Wilbur Scott; seven siblings, Dorothy Edwards of St. Petersburg, FL, James Nelson of St. Petersburg, FL, Jessie Richardson of St. Petersburg, FL, David Nelson of St. Petersburg, FL, John Wayne Nelson of Cuthbert, GA, Ray Nelson of Cuthbert, GA, Dimple Nelson of Cuthbert, GA. He also leaves behind his aunt, Estella Harris; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and two devoted friends, John Smith and Johnny B. Scott.
