Ronald Brown, a dedicated and accomplished individual, passed away on November 3, 2023, in his hometown of Cuthbert, Georgia. Born on June 9, 1961, in Cuthbert, Ronald was known for his remarkable contributions to various fields throughout his life.

Ronald worked as the Clay County EMS Director, where he served with distinction for an impressive sixteen years. His commitment to ensuring the well-being and safety of others was truly commendable. Ronald's
leadership and expertise played a vital role in improving emergency services in Clay County.

Education held a significant place in Ronald's life. He completed his high school education at Randolph County Comprehensive High School. Subsequently, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Troy State University before furthering his education at Valdosta State University, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Education.

Ronald served the United States Air Force for twenty years. Throughout his military service, he demonstrated exceptional dedication and achieved the rank of Master Sergeant (retired). Recognized for his exemplary performance, Ronald received numerous accolades, including the Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, and the National Defense Service Medal. Additionally, he was honored with the Air Force Training Ribbon and the Air Force Overseas Short Tour Ribbon with one device. Ronald also received the Expert Marksmanship Ribbon/Rifle and the NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon with one device. He proudly carried the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with one device and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal with an impressive five devices.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father Fletcher Brown.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ronald cherished spending time with his loved ones. He leaves behind a grieving family which includes his wife Hilda Brown of Eufaula, AL; sons Aaron J. Brown, Adam J. Brown both of Atlanta, GA, and Jontejay Z Robinson of Albany, GA; devoted mother Geraldine Denson (Harold-step father) of Montgomery, AL; brother Eric Brown (Cheryl) of Mobile, AL; sisters Aleshia Fields (Zimblist) of Cuthbert, GA, Dena Denson, and Janae Denson of Montgomery, AL; step-daughter Rydeara Jones; step-sons Delkavis Jones and Cashmere Jones all of Eufaula, AL; and grand-daughter Akai Brown of Atlanta, GA and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Ronald's presence in their lives will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in their hearts.

Ronald Brown will be remembered for his dedication to public service and unwavering commitment to the well-being of others. His legacy as a compassionate leader and devoted family man will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him. May his soul find eternal peace.
