Ruby Carol Waldon was born in Randolph County, Georgia on March 17, 1933 to James and Georgia Mae Holmes Green Telfair.Ruby C. as she was affectionately called, grew up in Randolph County and the City of Cuthbert, where she attended the Randolph County Training School. Ruby Joined the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Mission Department. She always loved to sing and had a beautiful voice, therefore she joined the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Choir where she served for many years until her health began to fail.She met and Married Henderson Taylor and to this union her only child, a son was born, Henderson Taylor Jr. whom she adored. After the Death of her Husband Henderson Taylor Sr., several years later she met and married Wayman Waldon.Ruby C. loved to outfit her yard with beautiful landscaping. She possessed a one of a kind green thumb and was known for her beautiful flowers and vegetables. On Friday Morning, January 3, 2020 God looked out through Heaven’s window and saw his daughter, Ruby Carol Waldon and remembered her for her faithfulness And long-suffering and smiled and sent his Holy Angels to bring his child home to join him and her love ones. Ruby is rejoicing with her Grandparents Reverend George and Tannie Mae Holmes, Her Parents Mr. James and Georgia Mae Holmes Green Telfair, Her Brother Mr. J.W. Green and her first and second husbands Mr. Henderson Taylor and Mr. Wayman Waldon. Ruby Laughed, loved and enjoyed life to the fullest and these precious memories will be cherished by a loving and devoted son Mr. Henderson Taylor of Albany, Georgia; One Niece Mrs. Thomasina (Jimmy) McMillian of Bedford Heights, Ohio.
