Ruth Webb Thompson

Today we celebrate the life of our mother, who departed this life March 30, 2020. Mom was born in Coleman, GA to Trudie and Kelton Webb December 24, 1917. She was preceded in death by eight brothers, Lenus, Otis, Crawford, Kelton Jr, Ernest, Olden, James and Hubert; two sisters, Bertha Florence and Mable Morrison. Mom joined New Hope Baptist Church at an early age. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She loved her church. She attended church faithfully until her health started to decline. Mom’s favorite pass-time was working in her yard. She loved her flowers. She would work in her yard all day. She is survived by three children, Maggie Thompson of Coleman, GA, Jimmy and Sandra of Loganville, GA, Mack and Mary of Bryon, GA; Three grandchildren, Shaundell Thompson and Tamara of Loganville, GA, Shemeka and Karl Floyd of Columbus, GA and Shalynndra and Diandre Stinson of Kathleen, GA; Six great grandchildren, Isaiah Thompson, Joshua, Jordan, Imani, Karrington and Kailyn Floyd.
