Tracy Darnell Patterson

Mr. Tracy Darnell Patterson was born on April 26, 1966 in Dawson, GA to Willie Ruth and Howard Patterson. Tracy departed his life on July 12, 2019 at his residence (childhood home) in Dawson, GA.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Ruth Patterson, his brother, Dwellyen Patterson, his sister, Wanda Faye Patterson, and his aunt, Evelyn Turner Hanible. At an early age, he was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness.  He was a graduate of Terrell High School, Class of ‘84. He also received a degree from Wallace Community College. For over ten years, he was married to Carla Patterson. His occupations consisted of accounting, tax professional.  Tracy loved to read and collect comic books and watches.  Basketball and Tennis were some of the sports he was great at. His memories will continue to live in the hearts of his loved ones:  His father, Howard Patterson Jr; Grandmother, Louise, Turner;  Brothers, Alphonso (Jackie) Patterson, Donnie (Janet) Patterson, Llewellyn (Laterrie) Patterson, Howard D. Patterson; Aunts and Uncles, Helen Prophet, Minnie Robinson, Will Patterson (Peg Ann), Lucille Holmes, Yvonne Turner, Clementine Cuyler, Valerie Turner; His fiancé at the time of his death, Yulanda Paige and her five children, Mary Goode, Nicky Goode, Nicholas Goode, Jlonn Paige, Freddie Paige Jr, whom he treated as his own; He had many adopted parents along the way, Geraldine Seay, Virgil & Deforest Hopson, Virginia & Lewis Green, Lois & Shawn Murphy; His favorite co-workers, Thomas Bailey, William Harris, Willie Smith, Rev. David Hamm, Mrs. Veronica Fillingame, Mr. Charlie Shedrick; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
