Willie Mae Starling

Willie "Mae" Starling, born to the late Wilie and Fannie Mae Foster on 10/6/1943. She attended and graduated from Kaigler High School.

At an early age she joined Morris First Baptist Church and later moved her membership to Trinity Chapel in Morris, Ga where she was a faithful Servant under the leadership of the late Rev. Bobby Willis.

Ms. Starling was employed at Kellwood Company as a seamstress for many years, until she decided to become a successful business owner as a Cosmetologist, known to the community as Mae's Backdoor Beauty Salon.

Ms. Starling departed this earthly life on 2/19/2026 at Joe-Anne Burgin Health & Rehabilitation Facility. She had two sisters Lorraine Horne (Floyd) Brooklyn, NY, Bertha Bussey (Lawrence) Morris, GA and one brother Walter Foster (Mattie) Cuthbert, GA to precede her in death. One living sister Josie Perry (Lloyd), Tampa, Fl.

Ms. Starling was previously united in marriage to Rev, Freddie Starling, and during their union in marriage, two beautiful daughters were born. She leaves to mourn her Yolanda Starling (Atlanta, GA), Cheryl Miller (Dewayne) McDonough, GA. One grandson Choice Fillingame, IIl (aka Trey) (Kenyatta), Lawrenceville, GA, and one granddaughter Chalandria Fillingame, (Dunwoody, GA). Five great grandchildren (Kamen, Kamyira, Carmen, Kelhani and Chase). A host of nieces, nephews, god children, other relatives, family and friends.
